SkyVenture Orlando is the closest thing to skydiving you'll ever do without having to jump out of an airplane. It's so realistic that professional skydivers use the tunnel to practice and master their moves, yet safe enough for people of all ages without any experience to learn how to fly.
The experience begins with classroom training with your flight instructor, who will teach you how to use your body in the tunnel, as well as how to communicate through signals. From there you go to the equipment room to pick your flight suit, helmet, goggles and other gear. Finally, you will to the tunnel with your class and take turns flying one-on-one with your instructor. Each person gets two flight rotations, which is equal to two real skydives!
Who can fly?
Virtually any reasonably health person can fly, from children as young as three years old to seniors. We have had many grandparents fly with their grandchildren. Anyone under 18 years of age will have to have a parent or guardian sign a waiver in order to allow minors to fly.
Individuals with serious back problems or should injuries should not fly, as it may aggravate the injury. Additionally, the weight limit is generally 250-270 pounds, depending on the height, shape and build of the flyer.
Do you need skydiving experience?
You do not need skydiving experience. SkyVenture is designed for beginners to enjoy the sensation of free fall and body flight in a safe environment. Many of our skydiving customers agree that the experience is amazingly realistic; in fact all the top teams from around the world visit our tunnel to train.
How much does it cost?
SkyVenture Orlando has flight packages starting at just $44.95 for adults, with a $5 discount for kids 12 and under. The one-hour experience is equal to two real skydives and includes your training class, use of flight gear, two flight rotations in the tunnel with one-on-one attention from your instructor and a flight certificate.
The best value is our Multi-Media Package, at $69.95. In addition to the basic flight package, you'll receive a flight recording of your experience on DVD and high resolution pictures of your flight on a photo CD. Normally, the basic flight, DVD and CD would retail at $84.95, so this is a great value. This is a great way to bring home the memories for yourself and sharing with others.
How long does it last?
The entire flight experience lasts about an hour and includes two one-minute flight rotations, which is equivalent to 2-3 real skydives. Many flyers find that each minute feels much longer, due to the adrenaline involved with flying in a 125 mph wind stream. Most people find two flight rotations to be an ideal amount for beginners. Of course, we do offer extra flight rotations for flying enthusiasts. When time is available, you may be able to purchase an additional two minutes at the end of your session.
Are there packages with more time?
If you want extra flight time, you can get the Sports Package for $99.95, which includes double the flight time -- 4 minutes of flight rotations -- and the Multi-Media Photo CD and DVD flight recording of your flight.
For the utlimate package, our AirXtreme Package. For $199.95, you'll get 10 minutes of flight rotations, the Multi-Media Package, and personalized instruction from a professional flight coach.
Can I fly with my friends or family members?
Your family can fly as part of the same class (classes are made up of up to twelve people; however inexperienced flyers are not able to fly with each other. Your family will take turns flying one-on-one with your instructor while the rest of the group watches. SkyVenture offers a special Family Package that allows up to five family members to share 10 minutes of flight rotations and includes a Photo CD and DVD flight recording of the entire family's flights. We also offer private party packages for birthdays, graduations, and other family events.
How much are the flight recording DVD CD?
The flight recording is $19.95 and includes your entire group on DVD. The Photo CD with high resolution photos is also available for $19.95. However, both the Photo CD and DVD can be purchased together with flight time in the Multi-Media Package for $69.95, making it our best value -- essentially the flight time is only $30.00. You may purchase the Photo CD and/or DVD afterward, but you'll miss out on the package discounts.

Do I have to jump?
Indoor skydiving offers the freedom and excitement of skydiving, but without the jump or hard fall. In the tunnel, your instructor will assist you in leaning directly into the wind flow so you will be lifted up. An instructor will be with you one-on-one while you are in the tunnel. No experience or special skills are needed to fly.
Can I do tricks and flips in the tunnel?
Tricks and flips are done by experienced flyers. We do offer training programs and camps that will develop your skills so you can learn many exciting stunts in the tunnel.
Do I need to make a reservation?
Reservations are highly recommended, as we do book up in advance. You can make them by calling 407-903-1150 or 1-800-SKY-FUN-1. The reservations desk is open everyday from 10 am to 11 pm. We suggest you book your reservations as far in advance as possible. The observation deck is open daily, where you are welcome to stop and watch flyers before making your reservations. You are asked to arrive 15 minutes before your class time. The tunnel is located across from Wet & Wild on Visitors Circle just off International Drive – Use Exit 75A off I-4.
